Danzan Healing:

Developed as a form of physical therapy in the early 20th century by the founder of Danzan Ryu Jujitsu, Professor Seishiro Okazaki. Okazaki refined, practiced and taught the healing art to hundreds of individuals in pre and post WWII Hawaii.

Trained in both Japanese (Seifukujitsu) and Hawaiian (Lomilomi) healing arts, Master Okazaki was a world renowned healer treating patients such as President Franklin Roosevelt, George Burns, Charlie Chaplin, Carol Lombard, Johnny Weismuller, and many others.

Danzan Seifukujitsu:

A Pacific-Asian healing system that utilizes therapeutic bodywork, herbs and energetic exchange to aid patients in “returning to normal.” Students of the Danzan Healing Arts begin the study of this system by learning Professor Okazaki’s “Long-Life” restoration bodywork kata. This unique deep-tissue work is a phenomenally exact and mindful practice. The benefits of its application are shared by both the giver and receiver. Advanced students go on to learn Okazaki Seifukujitsu therapies for a variety of specific ailments.
